About the Role

We’re hiring a versatile, hands-on Field Technician to support two of our growing service businesses: Boss Mudjacking and Genesis Healthy Homes. This is a flex role designed for someone who enjoys variety, physical work, and learning multiple trades - from concrete lifting and leveling to mold remediation and indoor air quality-related services.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with mudjacking projects including setup, pumping operations, material handling, and cleanup

  • Support mold remediation and related restoration services

  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites

  • Work efficiently with crew leads to complete projects on time and to standard

  • Help maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles

  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Strong work ethic and reliability

  • Comfort with physical, hands-on work (lifting, kneeling, standing for long periods)

  • Willingness to learn multiple service types and follow detailed procedures

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

 

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in construction, restoration, concrete, remediation, or similar trades

  • Comfort working in basements, crawlspaces, and residential job sites

  • Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools and equipment

  • Interest in growing into a more advanced technical or leadership role

 

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Full-time, primarily weekday work

  • Occasional early mornings or extended days depending on project needs

  • Schedule may vary based on which team you’re supporting that day

Boss Mudjacking

Position Overview

The Operations & Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and growth of Boss Mudjacking. This role blends field sales, team leadership, and operational oversight. You will conduct estimates, oversee the sales process, manage our field crew, and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to standard. Beyond daily operations, you will help drive growth through neighborhood outreach, referral development, and strategic partnerships. This is a leadership role for someone who wants meaningful responsibility and direct influence over revenue, team performance, and long-term success.
 

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Leadership

  • Conduct on-site estimates and present solutions confidently

  • Close residential and commercial projects

  • Oversee sales follow-up and pipeline management

  • Track KPIs including close rates, revenue targets, and job profitability

  • Ensure accurate pricing and margin discipline

Operations Management

  • Manage daily scheduling and field operations in coordination with crew and administrative staff

  • Maintain quality control standards and ensure jobsite excellence

  • Enforce safety protocols and professional jobsite conduct

  • Monitor equipment and vehicle condition, in addition to workflow efficiency

  • Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and hold field crew accountable

  • Conduct performance check-ins and training

  • Foster a high-performance, solution-oriented culture

  • Set clear expectations for professionalism and customer experience


Business Development & Growth Initiatives

  • Develop and implement outreach/referral-driven growth strategies

  • Build partnerships with realtors, property managers, contractors, and other referral partners

  • Identify new marketing and revenue opportunities

  • Collaborate with ownership on strategic planning and expansion

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary + Commission on closed sales

  • Performance-based bonuses tied to revenue and operational KPIs

On-target earnings are expected to range between $75,000 and $90,000+ annually, with upside potential based on performance.

What We’re Looking For
Required

  • Strong sales ability; comfortable closing in-person and over the phone

  • Leadership experience in construction, home services, or related field

  • Operational mindset - ability to manage both people and systems

  • High accountability and ownership mentality

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

 

Preferred

  • Experience in concrete repair, foundation work, restoration, or home services

  • Prior P&L responsibility or revenue target ownership

  • Experience managing field crews

  • Background in small business operations or entrepreneurial environments

Genesis Healthy Homes

Genesis Healthy Homes is seeking a part-time Service Technician specifically for field remediation projects. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing indoor air quality and overall home health through proven remediation methods. Join our team to contribute to environmentally responsible and scientifically informed solutions on a part-time basis.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the execution of mold and moisture remediation projects according to established protocols.

  • Use and maintain various tools and equipment necessary for environmental remediation.

  • Wear personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety guidelines as required by OSHA to ensure personal and team safety.

  • Follow detailed operational procedures with high attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and quality of remediation work.

  • Navigate and work efficiently in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces, often under challenging conditions.

  • Lift and maneuver heavy equipment and materials as needed throughout the remediation process.

 

Requirements

  • Experience in environmental services, construction, or related field with a focus on remediation activities is preferred.

  • Ability to safely operate and maintain hand tools and heavy equipment relevant to remediation tasks.

  • Strong physical fitness, capable of lifting heavy objects and working in confined or uncomfortable spaces.

  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.

  • Must adhere to strict safety and operational guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Part-Time Role Available

  • Competitive hourly rate: $16 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.
